Our mission
We exist to help readers make better decisions about technology. We do not chase trends for attention or publish paid placements disguised as editorial. Every piece we produce is written to answer a real question: what should I choose, what should I build, and what should I question?
Independence
KnowExus is independently operated. We do not accept payment in exchange for positive coverage, rankings, or product recommendations. If we have a relationship with a company whose product we cover, we disclose it clearly at the top of the piece.
We do participate in select affiliate programs where clicking a link may generate a small commission. These partnerships never influence our reviews, rankings, or recommendations. All affiliate relationships are disclosed.
Fact-checking and accuracy
Our writers are required to verify all factual claims against primary sources before publication. Product features, pricing, and capabilities change quickly in the AI space — when we identify an error, we correct it promptly and note the change. We encourage readers to point out mistakes by emailing editorial@knowexus.com.
Source material
Where practical, we link directly to primary documentation, official announcements, and peer-reviewed research. We treat vendor claims as marketing material, not fact, and test them independently when possible. If a claim cannot be verified, we note that explicitly rather than repeating it.
Editing process
Every piece goes through three stages before publication: technical review (verifying claims and product accuracy), editorial review (clarity, structure, and usefulness), and style review (consistency and readability). Our editors reserve the right to reject pieces that fail any of these stages.
Corrections and updates
When we learn that a published piece contains incorrect information, we take the following steps:
- Correct the factual error as soon as possible
- Add an editor's note describing what changed and why
- In significant cases, publish a follow-up piece with additional context
AI tools change rapidly. Some of our older guides may reference outdated interfaces or pricing. We review and update all guides quarterly, and mark significantly aged pieces with a "Field Note" label indicating they should be checked against current documentation.
Reader feedback
We actively welcome reader feedback. Tips, corrections, suggestions, and disagreements all help us improve. You can reach us at editorial@knowexus.com or through our contact form. We read every message and respond to constructive criticism.
